Terms of use §1 Services
§1.1 In order to participate at Impera Online, hereafter named IO, each user has to accept the terms of use. These terms of use refer to all services of Impera Online.
§1.1 The use of all services of IO is free of costs!

§2 Membership
§2.1 Start of membership: Membership starts when a game account has been registered. The user must use a valid e-mail address. IO reserves the right to test this at any time.
§2.2 Termination of membership: The membership may be terminated by the user by deleting the account, which is possible in the profile settings.
§2.3 Automatic termination of membership: After three months of inactivity the membership will automatically terminated.

§3 Data privacy
§3.1 The carrier reserves the right to store personal data of users in order to supervise the user behavior regarding the terms of use and applicable laws. Subject to storage may be the IP address with its connection time, the registered email address and all data from the user's profile which is entered voluntarily.
§3.2 The stored userdata is used for game organisation only and will not be passed to third parties.
§3.3 After termination of the membership, all access- and userdata will be deleted completely.

§4 Contents/Responsibility
§4.1 IO provides a platform that allows users to communicate with each other. Users are responsible for the contents of their communication. Pornographic, xenophobic, offensive and illegal content are not permitted and are not within the responsibility of the carrier. Violations will lead to a direct deletion.
§4.2 Offensive nicks are not permitted. Especially political, pornographic, xenophobic or illegal names will lead to a direct deletion.
§4.3 Good behaving and manners are expected by each player.

§5 Prohibited actions
§5.1 No user has the right to use any actions, mechanism or software in conjunction with IO which could interfere with the function and development of the game. Users are not permitted to take actions, which cause an unacceptable or excessive strain of technical capacities.
§5.2 The abuse of private messages and or chat by spamming, flooding, scripting or other methods of annoyance is not allowed.

§6 Restrictive covenant
§6.1 All users agree to use only one account. So called 'multis' are not permitted and can be deleted or blocked without prior notice.
§6.2 No user has any claim to take part at IO. The carrier reserves the right to delete or to block accounts from IO services without explanation.
§6.3 Account sharing is not permitted. An exeption to this is the vacation substitution (§7).
§6.4 Users can be blocked temporarily or continuously at the carriers discretion.
§6.5 Forbidden in solo player games: non-aggression pacts or other arrangements with the intention to eliminate other players cooperatively in order to share the win.

§7 Vacation substitution
§7.1 The duration of a vacation substitution must be at least 1 day. The maximum duration of a vacation substitution is four weeks.
§7.2 The vacation substitute must be announced in the 'Urlaubsvertretung'-section of the forum. The duration and reason has to be specified and confirmed by the substitute.
§7.3 During a vacation substitution it is not permitted to join games with the account. Futhermore it is not permitted to change any settings of the account. An exception can be made by an admin for joining team/alliance tournaments or league games.

§8 Liability
§8.1 IO is not liable for any damages caused by the use of the game.

§9 Modification of Terms of use
§9.1 Should one of the above §§ be invalid, the effectiveness of the other §§ will not be affected.
§9.2 The carrier reserves the right to modify or extend these Terms of use at any time.
